Ah, it's finally October, leaves are orange and red and I just can't get over it so I'm stating the obvious and sounding really corny. But I actually am pretty chuffed about it, but I love cold weather, I don't like to sweat my arse off, so I love the winter warts and all (warts being the flu season, don't love it but I can take it).

And it's at last sweater weather or jumper season, whichever you prefer. I love to bundle up in winter, and you can just throw on a sweater with some jeans and you are good to go and they are pretty easy to layer too.

But you know those sweaters/jumpers that are so expensive that they cost you an arm and a leg, well, I despise taking care of those they are first up so freaking expensive and then on top of that they are so high maintenance as well, so I steer clear of those, they can start looking wonky pretty quickly if you do not take care of them properly, and if it's· an inexpensive sweater just get a new one and they last for a pretty decent time too. here are my picks from the high street that in eyeballing maybe something will strike your fancy as well.

It’s pretty evident that Red has always been pretty iconic for fashion, there are quite a bunch of Red carpet moments that became a moment because of the colour Red. And this fiery hue is back to rule autumn/winter. It ruled every runway this year, if you want to make a statement Red is the colour to do it, whether it is lipstick, nail varnish or clothing it’ll get the job done. But if you are like me and prefer deeper tones rather than fire engine Red, you can rejoice because Burgundy is here to rule this Autumn/Winter with Red by its side.
