I’ve always wanted to jump on the monthly favourites bandwagon so here goes. And I’m really struggling with blog post ideas so here’s one already taken care of, since these are the things I’m already liking and using. I love reading about others favourites, what their skin type is and what’s working for them, I think they are really fun to do. So here is the mish-mash of the things I’m loving this month.
Primers oh primers, some people love ‘me some hate ‘em and some don’t even use ‘em. Primer preferences vary not only from skin type to skin type but also your needs and what you want from your primer. Oily skins want a Mattifying primer (which I keep at a ten feet distance), dry skins want a hydrating or illuminating primer (thank the lord for hydrating primers), some want pore minimizing primers or soothing primers well you get the point. What might work for me might not work for you and vice versa. Here are my favourite primers for my dry as the Mojave Desert skin.1-Backlight Priming Filter $38.00 ã…£Becca
This has a very subtle perfumy scent, just to let you know if you're sensitive to smells but it's very subtle though.2-Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer $16.00ã…£NYX
This one is pretty self-explanatory, it's like a veil for your face, I know it's a dupe for an Hourglass one but I can't remember which one. 3-HangoveRX Primer $32.00ã…£Too Faced

It smells like coconuts that is my super helpful review/explanation.
4-Photo Finish Primerizer $42.00ã…£SmashBox

Heaven in a bottle for a bone dry skin.
5-Foundation Primer Radiance Bronze $38.00ã…£Laura Mercier

Slightly bronzy with a little bit of dewiness and it'll make your foundation stay.
I kinda bit off much more than I can chew with this Top 5 series, but Imma see this through. Hope you are having a brilliant day wherever you are, and I wish the best if you bit off much more than you can chew.
I wanted to share my top 5 favourite makeup finishing sprays, these are all pretty much, finishing sprays not priming or hydrating facial mists, these are all normal finishing sprays nothing is too drying or too dewy, except the Cover FX one, that one is marketed as illuminating setting spray and the all-nighter does give a nice sheen, but it’s nothing too crazy, they are all marketed as finishing sprays that are for normal skin although the brands mentioned here do make mattifying setting sprays for all the oily gals, except for Milani, I don’t know if Milani makes a mattifying setting spray or not.
Oh, let’s talk about the nozzles that do the spraying for all of them, Milani Make It Last has pretty decent mister for drugstore, Scandinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray, Kat Von D Lock It Makeup Setting Mist (smells like cucumbers by the way), Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray (it’s pretty much Hairspray for your face) all have great misters but Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray just takes the cake, it’s a fine mist and it’s just heavenly.
I wanted to share my Top 5 Favourite Mascaras, three of them are drugstore and I honestly think that the drugstore does great mascaras, there are plenty of great ones to choose from. I usually look for volumizing, curling and separating mascaras rather than lengthening ones, because I wear glasses and my natural lashes touch the glasses already, I don’t need any more length. And with all of these, there will be no smudging, at least not on me they don't especially with the Covergirl Supersizer that one is super budge-proof.
Let me know what you look for in a mascara? Do you look for length or volume? Do you prefer the spidery lash or separated no clumpy look? And I would love to know your favourites. Hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you are.

There’s not much to say really, or maybe I’m stuck, but these are my Top 5 Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes. We are talking big palettes not quads, trios or duos and definitely not your z-palette, palettes that are actually sold as palettes, not single eyeshadows you accumulate over time.
Who doesn’t like a bit of a tan, but summer is good, slow going, but in my opinion, It went a little too fast. With the fading summer tans are fading too, and a lot of people are already back to their pasty completion again, not that there’s anything wrong with that, a lot of people fake tan and be done with it for a while but sometimes as soon as you attempt to fake tan your face, shit hits the fan. So Bronzers are pretty much everybody’s best friends, here are mine
Liquid lipsticks trend is still raging, but their daily use will leave your lips dry not just dry Sahara desert dry and peeling like snakeskin (or maybe that’s just me).And then you scramble for your most creamy and hydrating lipsticks to give your lips some space and breathing room.

Makeup brands come out with new products every season, for somebody who loves makeup but isn’t a make-up artist, YouTuber or blogger (I mean a successful blogger, not me who is stumbling in the dark) that can be a bit of a pain, that eternal dialogue starts do I need this, should I buy this or I already have something similar, we want it there is no doubt about that, but do we need it that is the question.
Not all of us can have every single product launch, sometimes it’s the budget, more important things, and sometimes it’s the clutter. I am one hundred percent in support of fawning over a palette from afar, you know you have a crush on an eyeshadow palette or a highlighter. Like Ryan Gosling you love them from afar, maybe a poor analogy but it works for me.
So let me share some of my recent loves that I’m eyeing but probably will never try for one reason or another, take a look at your own risk you might like ‘em. And we can love them together
